Some important information about visiting the Great Barrier Reef for your Whale Watching Experience.
WHEN DOE’S WHALE WATCHING SEASON START?
The best time to see the humpback whales in Hervey Bay is mid-July to mid-November. Most tours will operate from the end of August until the end of October since the first two weeks of the season are known as “whale searching.”
AM I GUARANTEED TO SEE WHALES?
Unfortunately we can not guarantee the sightings of wild animals, although with our experience and knowledge of the area, we have always managed to see whales on our tours.
CAN I SWIM WITH THE WHALES?
NO. We do not allow our guests to swim with the whales as it can interfere with their natural life and in some cases can stress the whales out.
