The best time to see humpback whales in our waters is mid-July to mid-November. Most tours operate from the end of August until the end of October, since the first two weeks of the season are known as "whale searching".

We can't guarantee sightings of wild animals — but with our experience and knowledge of the area, we have always managed to see whales on our tours.

No. We don't allow guests to swim with the whales — it can interfere with their natural behaviour and in some cases causes the whales stress. There's more detail in our guide to swimming with humpback whales in Australia.
